Here come the fireworks! Saturday July 4, 2009
| Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association was created to provide the leadership, resources, time and energy needed in our community to put on this great annual event. The Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association is a 501 c-3 non-profit. This year's event will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2009. Please check back here for updates and more information as it becomes available. Thanks to the generosity of our event Sponsors, they underwrite much of the cost of this annual event, but ticket sales and donations are needed to complete the picture. Click here if you are interested in making a donation to the event. Thank you for attending and supporting our 2008 event, please join us this year for an even better event! Information for the 2009 event The event will be held at the La Crescenta Elementary School Playground. The main entrance will be off of Prospect Ave. just west of La Crescenta Ave. in La Crescenta. Mapquest.com map The gates will open at 4 p.m., the music starts, the rides are running (yes, we will be having rides again in 2009), the food is cooking and everyone will come in to watch fireworks. The gates will close at 8:30 p.m., so be sure to arrive with plenty of time and then shortly after 9 p.m. the fireworks begin right on cue with the rockets red glare and a fifteen plus minute show lights up the sky. We hope you enjoyed last year's event and we look forward to another great year in 2009! Please let us know how we can make this an even better event for our community. Tickets are $5 each and children 2 and under get in free. Tickets are available at the following locations until the day before the event: - CV Chamber office at 3131 Foothill Blvd., Unit D, La Crescenta (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) - Crescenta Valley Insurance, 3923 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - Bob Smith Toyota, 3322 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - J's Maintenance, 3550 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - Farmer's Market in Montrose, last Sunday in June, (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) We will also have tickets available on the 4th after 12 p.m. at the corner of La Crescenta Ave. and Prospect Ave. Please try to buy your tickets ahead of time and avoid the lines on the day of the fireworks. Tickets will be first come first serve at the gate on the 4th Thank you to everyone for supporting CV Fireworks!
