Here come the fireworks! Thursday July 4, 2013

Thursday, July 4, 2013 This year's event will be the 7th event put on by the Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association with the help and guidance of past event chairs and our volunteer committee. The event will be held at the La Crescenta Elementary School Playground. The main entrance will be off of Prospect Ave. just west of La Crescenta Ave. in La Crescenta. Mapquest.com map Tickets are now available!! - Make sure you buy them ahead of time to save $3 each. Tickets are just $7 each pre-sale until the drive-through ticket sales close ($10 at the gate) and children 7 and under get in free. Service men and women get free admission. Gates will open at 4 p.m. The gates will close at 8:30 p.m., so give yourself plenty of time to find parking and get into the event area. Tickets are available at the following locations until the day before the event: - Bob Smith Toyota, 3333 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - CV Chamber office at 3131 Foothill Blvd., Unit D, La Crescenta (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) - Crescenta Valley Insurance, 3156 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - CV Weekly, 3800 La Crescenta Ave. #101, La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - J's Maintenance, 3550 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - Pacific Outdoor Living, 2729 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - Farmer's Market in Montrose, most Sundays in June, (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) We will also have tickets available on the 4th after 12 p.m. at the corner of La Crescenta Ave. and Prospect Ave. Please try to buy your tickets ahead of time and avoid the lines on the day of the fireworks.
